Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)

If you are a party in a custody case, you are required to complete the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). There are no costs and you can use the program online from your home. It’s an individualized program of six to eight modules to help support parents in their journey to raising happy and resilient children. Each module will take less than one hour to complete. Once complete, you will be issued a certificate that you must present, either in print or from your phone, to the Magistrate or Judge assigned to your case. Please come to that first hearing prepared to discuss what you have learned. Failure to provide proof of completion will impact your case.

Register with Triple P and begin the process here »

Please note there are two Triple P options. One is called 0-12 and one is called Teen.

  • Triple P Online 0-12 – For parents and caregivers with a primary focus on children from around one year old to ages 9 or 10. This program covers: Building positive relationships; promoting positive behaviors; teaching new skills; managing challenging behaviors; and strategies to plan ahead for challenging times and experiences.
  • Triple P Online Teen – For parents and caregivers with a primary focus on tweens and teens from around age 10 to 16. This program covers: Building positive relationships; promoting positive behaviors; coaching problem solving; managing strong emotions; and planning ahead for risky or dangerous situations.

Please select the correct option for your child or children. The easiest way to find the options is to click on the “Free Parenting Courses” link at the top of the Triple P website.
